Popular Nollywood actor, Kolawole Ajeyemi dissociates himself from his wife, Toyin Abraham, amidst the backlash trailing her political party affiliation in the 2023 elections.
Toyin Abraham who is a stern supporter of the APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has since been faced with backlash over her choice of party. Despite the attacks from opposition party supporters, she carried the flag of APC unperturbed.
In a recent post via Instagram, Kolawole Ajeyemi addressed trolls coming for him and his children while emphasizing that he had nothing to do with his wife political stance.
“Good day everybody, it’s not like I asked anyone of you to vote for any candidate or campaigned for any party and the fact that my wife is supporting a specific party doesn’t mean that I’m supporting her. So, those of you laying curses on my children I rebuke it all and I wish you all the same. And I repeat I did not campaign for any candidate,” he wrote.
