Abolore Akande, the Nigerian singer better known as 9ice, has taken to social media platforms to celebrate Olasunkanmi, his wife, on the occasion of their third wedding anniversary.

In an Instagram post on Friday, the singer shared loved-up photos of himself and his wife in a lovey-dovey position.

The songwriter revealed they have been friends for years before getting married.

He appreciated her for “being a part of my life”.

9ice also described Olasunkanmi as “my no 1 cheerleader and my source of motivation”.

“12 years of friendship. 3 years married, forever to go. Eru to ju owo e ko, Abeeni. My no 1 cheerleader, my source of motivation and strength. Thanks for being a part of my life. My lovely wife, happy anniversary,” he wrote.

In another post, the singer described them as “two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together”.

“Cheers to two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together,” he added.

The singer tied the knot with Olasunkanmi in December 2019. The union is so far blessed with two kids.

9ice’s union to Olasunkanmi came after his marriage to Toni Payne crashed in 2018.

Payne had accused him of serially cheating on her.
