British Nigerian singer, songwriter and actress Lucianne, formerly known as Luci Monet, drops the audio (on all streaming platforms) and video on YouTube to her debut single titled “More” (Produced by Majeek). The track was released under her newly formed independent label RIV Records (Real Issa Vibe Records).
Lucianne presents an addictive track, merging Afro-Soul and contemporary R&B with unprecedented swag and grace in a move to return to her first love, music, with the release of “More”. She also has a string of singles lined up to be released within the year for her rapidly growing fan base.
The track “More” also comes with a fitting virtual reality-themed music video directed by Doyin Ajakaye for Simplicity Studios. The video explores the thin line between an online fantasy world, where Lucianne gets to be with her online attraction, and her real-life, where everything was just in her imagination. This begs the question of whether the virtual world can ever actually become our reality.
