Nigerian transgender, Miss Sahhara, has said that Nigeria is not safe for members of the LGBTQ community.

The Benue-born former beauty queen stated this on Wednesday February 23, while reacting to the alleged murder of a gay man identfied as Dave in Lagos.

“Nigeria is not safe for LGBTQ people, don’t believe the smokescrees you see on social media. This is the reality our community faces in Naija. Yet, his murderer will proclaim their love for God! Evil bastard. Rest in peace Dave.” she wrote.
