A yet to be ascertained number of persons have been feared dead with many vehicles razed after a truck loaded with 33,000 litres of petroleum product fell on Wednesday morning at Barracks Bus Stop, along the Mile 2/Badagry Expressway, Ojo, Lagos, spilling its content on the ground and triggering an huge inferno.

It was gathered that the truck was conveying the combustive products to an undisclosed petrol station along the Mile 2 / Badagry expressway, when it fell, on reaching Barracks bus-top.

The incident, which was said to have been caused by a bad spot in front of Onireke Police Station, Barracks bus stop, has stirred pandemonium.

As of press time, police officials, Fire service personnel and Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) are on ground to rescue victims and put out the fire.
