Nigerian born, US-based singer Tobby Drillz turns up the flames on Sts (Stealing The Show) with a show stopping delivery that glides gracefully onto house, amapiano and Afrobeats sound beds.

Production is mostly provided by the Ghanaian-born DJ K.O., producers Bunie and Bobby cleave. Their combined firepower yields sleek tracks on love, passion and ambition, pushing STS a notch higher than the effervescent pop in Drillz’ 2020 EP, Smooth Bop.

On “Lose Guard”, Drillz signals an attention to conquer, singing: “I only got one confession/ I no come here for attention/they tell me thanks and I say please no mention.” On “Kilimanjaro”, Drillz falls to the temptation of seduction, infusing melodies from Aaliyah’s “Try Again” in bragging about a love so high above others that it is also lethal.
