Ikoyi Club has suspended Mr Modupe Alakija over misconduct.
A letter of suspension released by the Ikoyi club claims Mr Modupe Alakija, the husband of Mrs Folorunsho Alakija, physically assaulted and abused a fellow member.
The letter adds that he will be suspended for one year, starting from Dec. 1, 2021 to Nov. 30, 2022.
