Kogi State’s giant stride in Agriculture under the leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello.

Agricultural business has taken a new shape and growth since the tenure of the present governor of Kogi State Governor Yahaya Bello, It was gathered that Governor Yahaya bello has empowered hundreds of farmers in the state with equipment and facilities that would make farming and agricultural business as a whole to be easily practiced in the state.

The GYB procurement of about 15,000 metric tones of NPK fertilizers which was sold at a subsidized rate to farmers across the state. Procurement of about 140 unit of brand new Massey Ferguson with full complimentary implements were distributed to the 21 local govt areas likewise Leasing of 4,560 hectares of land to farmers across the state.

This has really improved the Agricultural Business within the state and that’s is why Nigeria handed over farm input to kogi state farmers.

This again demonstrates the visionary leadership of Governor Yahaya Bello especially at a time like this when the nation is at the potential danger of food insecurity.
