OAP Moet Abebe took to her Instastories to vent about the frustrations single women face while trying to rent a house in Lagos.

In her post, Moet wondered what a lady’s marital status has to do with renting a house.

She also wondered if having a job and being a law-abiding citizen aren’t enough factors to consider while renting a house. She pointed out that it becomes harder even as a famous lady as the landlords make comments like the lady must be ”promiscuous”, would be ”throwing parties and orgies in their properties’. According to her, the ‘best’ she has heard is that her ”sugar daddy might pay her rent this year but might not pay for the consecutive years”.
