President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived Maiduguri, the capital of Borno State, to declare open the Chief of Army Staff Annual (COAS) Conference holding in the State.
The COAS conference was originally scheduled to hold in Edo State, however, it was moved to Borno state, in the wake of the attack on three military bases in Metele by Boko Haram terrorists.
Bashir Ahmad, Buhari’s New Media aide shared photos of the president’s arrival at the Maiduguri International Airport.

The Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria, President Muhammadu Buhari set to deliver a keynote address at the COAS Annual Conference 2018 holding at Command Guest House in Maiduguri, Borno State Capital.
The Nigerian Army also confirmed his presence in the Borno state capital.
