It’s now obvious that the best world album Grammy award winner Angelique Kidjo has some Nigerian roots as she was spotted in Lagos speaking Yoruba fluently.
In the viral video the Celia singer was seen at the Smooth FM Radio station with the talented singer ASA cheerfully speaking with Asa in fluent Yoruba as she complements her footwear and Asa also replied in Yoruba and they both laughed and hugged.
She also added that this was her first time playing in Lagos, that the last time she was here was 1993 at 13 years, she says Her Dad wouldn’t want her to come that he’s afraid she might not want to go back and return to school.
