DGeniux, legally known as Emmanuel Ocheje, is a multi-talented Nigerian Musical artist, songwriter, and Creative. The Lagos-based artist is a native of Benue State, born on the 21st of May, 1995 in the Northern region of the country. He had his tertiary education in the Department of Information and Media Technology at the Federal University of Technology, Minna. However, he has resolved to pursue a very promising career as an Alternative Hip-hop/ Afro-fusion musician.

In 2019, he released his first Extended Playlist titled “The Outsider” laced with nine (9) exceedingly enthralling tracks that sizzled aggressively across digital platforms. Since then, the young artist has continued to dish out beautiful music to his rapidly growing fan base throughout the continent. A few notable hits of his career include “Caro”, “Kalakuta”, “Odoyewu” & “Palava”.

His style of Afro-fusion is inspired by a complex mixture of flavors, ideas and messages from icons in different genres of the industry. Names like Kanye West, BurnaBoy, Manifest, Ghost and Drake were prominent mentions when asked about it.

DGeniux balances his music career with a number of other businesses and the creative skills he acquired along the way. He earns a significant portion of his total income from the photography, digital marketing & brand design/development services he offers to cooperative businesses and creative colleagues. He has worked with a number of record labels in these capacities including Imo records, MMMG, Dagogo records, and IBWR.
