The show promoters of Wizkid’s Ghanaian show which was set to happen at the 40,000 capacity stadium have released a statement regarding his no-show. Read the statement here.

The show promoters of Wizkid’s headline show in Ghana “Wizkid Live”, have released a statement following the star’s failure to turn up for the show.

According to the promoters, Live Hub who stated that the concert goers would get a refund of their ticket fees, Wizkid had breached his contract.

The concert which had taken place at the 40,000 Ghana stadium on the 10th of December had Wizkid as the headlining act with singers Efya, Darkovibes, Gyakie and others as supporting acts.

Prior to the statement from organisers, eye witness report from fans has reported a stand up situation where the concert goers had waited for as long as 12 hours till 4:30am and 5am for Wizkid to make an appearance.
