Nigeria- born and China based Disk Jockey Ojo Kolade James, popularly known as “DJ ICE CREAM” came to the lime light when his single “Up Nepa” with Nigerian songstress Seyi Shay & Mr Real became an anthem back in 2019 as he was on his Nigeria-China Tour

It hasn’t always been rosy he started Djing back in 2006 in Nigeria and then moved to China in 2010 through a student Visa after being declined six times, he choose the name DJ Ice Cream shortly after arriving in China because the Chinese couldn’t properly pronounce DJ Nicholas which was his initial trade name he finished his bachelor degree in International economics and trade in 2017 and later moved to Europe, Poland where he finished his master degree in Agric food economics and trade

He is also known in some circles as ‘DJ Licky and LICKY LICKY MASTER’ Ice cream because of his song with Mitch which was a debut single under his own label IceB Entertainment in China, he went on a club tour themed “Nigeria-China Tour” which started in china and he landed in Nigeria

Dj Ice Cream currently shuttles more than 35 different provinces in China out of 50 provinces making it safe to say he his the biggest Afrobeats Artiste DJ’s in Asia & Europe In 2024 he collaborates with Aceraine & Been Rich Dixon on a banger called “Shawty” which is currently out on all platforms
