Nigerian popular singer, Simi has advised and encouraged young girls to always love themselves as she preaches self-love.
The award winning singer, said she is very “concerned that young girls will have to work harder for a healthy self-esteem because they will be trying to live up to a standard that doesn’t exist.”
She however, challenged people to post a picture of themselves that is to basic for social media or picture of themselves without filter and makeup.
According to Simi, everyone is similar without the filtered photos and background in pictures. Â The singer also pleaded with young girls to stop presenting themselves in a certain way in order not to lose themselves in social media pressure.
